COOL Things to do in Palm Springs this Summer!

People from all over the world come to the Palm Springs area for rest and relaxation.

It has been a place for wellness and healing since its beginnings in the early twentieth century when visitors came for the natural hot mineral springs and warm dry climate.  In today’s tech-obsessed times, when we are so often glued to our screens, it can be difficult to unplug.

Palm Springs is a great wellness getaway to recharge your mental and emotional batteries and also get the most out of your vacation. Here’s a round-up of some of our favorite spots in Palm Springs where you can focus on wellness and self-care.

Enjoy the Wellness Park

If you’re wandering through Palm Springs neighborhoods, take a stroll through the Wellness Park. This five-acre spot at the corner of Via Miraleste and Tachevah Road is a serene area to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The space has fitness stations, trails, and a Healing and Fragrance garden that features plants with aromatic and medicinal qualities like lavender, peppermint and thyme. It’s a spot that locals love for its off-the-beaten-path location – and it makes a fantastic stretching and meditation spot if you’re out on a long run. Located adjacent to Ruth Hardy Park.

SPLASH HOUSE RETURNS  THIS  SUMMER!

Splash House is a summer festival series for you and your friends. It’s your ticket to a house and disco escape with great people and great fun. The party takes place across three hotel resorts in Palm Springs; Saguaro, Margaritaville and Renaissance, our favorite desert playground. Each resort is a full takeover hosting a poolside stage, rooms and balconies that are all part of the fun. Desert days continue into the night for our After Hours series, where we dance aside the planes and stars at the Palm Springs Air Museum.
